PORTFOLIO

Celina Kroder is an industrial designer who completed her master‘s studies at Folkwang University in 2024. In her work, she aims to create a long lasting emotional connection with the object and examines how a sensitive approach to the social responsibility behind the design of a product can offer space for dialogue and experience. She focuses on the creation of sustainable and interactive lighting for private or urban spaces. Her work also includes ceramic work and furniture that always comes with a subtle but surprising twist. Her designs often emerge from a philosophical perspective, through which she aims to communicate that ethics and aesthetics share a common semantic root that should not be disregarded.
