The collaborative project, „The Vignelli Dialogue“ between Folkwang University of the Arts (Industrial Design, Prof. Marion Digel, Sebastian Goldschmidt- böing) and „The Vignelli Centre for Design Studies“ of RIT, NY, USA (Josh Owen) has the goal to juxtapose a design philosophy born in 20th century Modernism with the challenges of current and future developments in the 21st century. The reflection of these developments in relation to the Vignelli Ethos are the core elements for the design transformations of the Industrial Design Master Students Maximilian Ewert, Steffen Kauenhowen, Celina Kroder, Qingyao Lin, Lea Mader, Anna Oestreich, Cornelius Richter and Alina Rogge.
The work was showcased at the Fierra Milano on Salone Satellite in 2022.
